Our install calendar is buzzing, and every project must meet MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards and first-class customer care. We’re looking for a detail-loving Office Administrator who can keep compliance tidy, customers happy and the team one step ahead—all on a flexible, part-time schedule.
MCS paperwork & portals
Compile, check and submit installation evidence, warranties and commissioning docs
Track certificate deadlines and flag any gaps before they become headaches
Customer touchpoints
Answer inbound calls and emails with friendly, no-fluff updates
Schedule site surveys, installs and follow-up visits around engineer diaries
Send final handover packs so clients feel confident from day one
Office essentials
Keep CRM notes spotless and stock spreadsheets current
Liaise with suppliers for manuals, datasheets and warranty info
Prep weekly progress reports for the Ops and Sales leads
Process polishing
Spot admin snags, suggest smarter templates or checklists and share the wins with the team
Previous admin experience—ideally in renewables or construction, but not essential
People skills: calm phone manner, clear written comms, genuine desire to help
Organised brain: you juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball
Tech confidence: CRM systems, MS Office and basic PDF editing hold no fear
